Bethesda Farm is an established Aberdeen neighborhood located off Fort Bragg Rd on the Southern Pines side of Aberdeen. It’s close to two historic sites – old Bethesda Church and Malcolm Blue Farm. And, it’s about a 2 minute drive to downtown Aberdeen, which is a growing scene with eclectic shops and fun restaurants.
Most of the homes in Bethesda Farm are 3 Bedroom houses built between 1975 and 2000. There are a few newer homes. The neighborhood is popular with young families. It’s quiet; and most of the houses sell for under $200k and they are right around 2,000 square feet or smaller. Those are averages, though, and there are a few larger homes – and they sell for just over $200k typically. One of the best things about the neighborhood is the size of the lots. Most if not all of the lots are larger than 1/2 an acre, and quite a few homes are built on lots that are about ¾ acre. The average price point in this Neighborhood makes it a very good value in our opinion. In our experience, homes in this neighborhood sell faster than average – and that’s a sign of market stability.
It’s quiet. And . . . . . Aberdeen is very close.
