Bonnie Brook

Bonnie Brook is a new, very small neighborhood in Aberdeen . . . . and it’s close to Downtown Aberdeen AND Downtown Southern Pines.  In fact, it may even be the Aberdeen Neighborhood that’s closest to Southern Pines.  The entrance is off Poplar Street; and it’s actually within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and supermarkets!  Bonniebrook Drive actually dead ends at a cul de sac, so there is absolutely no through traffic.  Our take is that the homes in Bonniebrook are very well built . . . . . superior to the new homes being built in larger subdivisions.

Bonniebrook is popular for 2 main reasons – First, the houses are large and most of them are 5 Bedrooms!!  Second, they are great looking homes . . . . and in our experience the quality is very high.  These homes were built generally before the volume developers moved into the area 2012.

Why Bonnie Brook?

The location is the main amenity!!  Because it’s close to everything . . . .  you get to spend more time on your back porch with your family or the great neighbors in the community.  On Sunday nights, you can ride your bike down to Aberdeen and take in a concert at The Rooster’s Wife  . . . . . or walk to our favorite Thai restaurant, Thai Orchid.

Bonnie Brook might be your neighborhood if:

  • You need 4 or 5 bedrooms
  • You ‘d prefer a newer home.
  • You want to be close to as many modern conveniences as possible – i.e. supermarkets, schools, shopping, Downtown So Pines and Aberdeen.
