Clarendon Gardens

What are the homes like?

In all, there are about 170 lots in Clarendon Gardens.  Some homes are built on double lots and some are still vacant.  In all, there are about 100 homes in the neighborhood.  The homes are generally larger family homes that are 15 – 20 years old on average.  They are mostly 4 BR homes over 3,000 sq. ft.  Again, there’s a great deal of variance based on age and condition.

Why Clarendon Gardens?

Clarendon Gardens is a quiet neighborhood of traditional homes on the outskirts of Pinehurst but still within the town limits.  The streets are quiet because there’s no through traffic – in other words there’s only one entrance.  In Clarendon, you’re most likely to see children riding bikes, dogs being walked and folks enjoying relaxing at home.   Property Owners are eligible for Pinehurst Country Club memberships.

Clarendon Gardens might be your neighborhood if:

Property owners are eligible to joint the Pinehurst CC; and most homes in Clarendon come with that option (you have to check though).  One of the great benefits of Pinehurst Membership (even a social membership) is that you and your family will have access to the new Pinehurst CC Swimming Club and Members Club!!  Pinehurst Membership Info (external link)

Geography

Clarendon Gardens is close to the Greenway Trail System (internal link) and there are also some walking trails within Clarendon. The entrance is on Linden Road not far from Elliot’s on Linden (one of our favorite area restaurants) and Pinewild CC. It’s about 5 minutes drive from Clarendon to the Village of Pinehurst and to the Pinehurst Country Club.
